The St. Lawrence County Arts Council’s 3rd annual North Country Arts Festival is a 10-day, county-wide celebration of art, culture, and community that encourages tourism and economic activity throughout the region.

Currently on display in the gallery is the exhibition Environment, Health, & the Body in Traditional Paintings from Contemporary India. The reception is free and open to the public.

Kathryn Myers is a painter whose gouache and oil paintings and recent works in video have been significantly inspired and informed by her engagement and research on the art and culture of India.  In addition to her creative work, she has developed a series of video interviews with contemporary Indian artists and has curated several exhibitions on Indian art. She has exhibited her work widely in the United States and India.
