Please join us for a gallery reception and informal discussion sponsored jointly by the Center for the Environment and the Department of Art and Art History on October 8 at 4:30 p.m.
Gallery visitors will have one final chance to view Our Place in the Scheme of Things, and then gather in the main gallery to talk about artwork in the exhibition. Diane Husic, Richard ’64 and Gail Stradling Executive Director of the Center for the Environment, and Sarah Knobel, Associate Professor, Departments of Art & Art History and Digital Media and Film, will facilitate a discussion about the role art can play in environmental activism and conservation, and how art can help people cope with eco-anxiety and climate grief.
