Also included in the exhibition are a large panorama, Above Lake Tenaya, connecting views from Edward Weston to Eadweard Muybridge (2002); an oversized saguaro “portrait” (2019); and several photographs from the 1970s to early 2000s that are part of St. Lawrence University’s permanent collection. The title of the exhibition draws from a quote by the artist in an interview with Anne Wilkes Tucker in Mark Klett: Seeing Time – Forty Years of Photographs (University of Texas Press, 2020).
